I mentioned that last week when I got my new machine I also got a couple of books. This one by Kasia Ehrhardt has a cute little tassel which I’ve had a go at just now. It’s very quick and just needs a split ring to make it complete. I’m thinking they might be nice on zips. What do you all think?
My first proper project in cork. Quite pleased with the outcome. Just a basic box bag but with some piping and a cute strap. It’s not perfect but happy with this as a first attempt. The sewing machine is so far quite impressive. I’ll write a proper review when I know more……..
You will need:
stiff cardboard, two circle templates one bigger than the other ( I used a candle lid and a coaster), two elastic bands, sellotape, glue, fabric, felt, thread, a zip, a scrap of ribbon
Picture instructions about how to make a macaron purse. A good way to use up your fabric stash. Probably the only essentials are stiff card and glue. It should be fun to make. Doesn’t have to be perfect. X
I spend my free time making things. For myself, for other people, to sell, but I rarely make more than one of anything.
